Barbara Faye Brewington 9/1/2013

Barbara Faye Brewington, 63, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013, at her residence. Barbara was born March 9, 1950 in Piggott, AR.

On May 23, 1968 she was united in marriage to James Lee Brewington and to this union four children were born.

Barbara loved spending time fishing, camping, sewing, and playing cards. She also loved to go to Dylan and Rebecca’s ballgames. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with friends and family and especially all the grandchildren. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church in Piedmont, MO

She had worked as a homemaker caring for her family much of her life. After her family was raised she worked at Madison Memorial Hospital in Fredericktown and Clark’s Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont taking care of Patients laundry.

Survivors include her mother, Ruth Maxine Brandenburg of Fredericktown; husband James; four sons, James Lee Brewington Jr of Des Arc, Danny Lee Brewington of O’Fallon, Richard Brewington and wife Lisa of Piedmont, and David Todd Brewington of Des Arc; ten grandchildren, Dylan, Rebecca, Pam, Angel, Lucas, Tyler, Zoe, Shelby, Emily, and Sarah; one great grandchild, Devon; one brother, Wally Crosno and wife Rae of Radcliff, KY; four sisters, Terre Brandenburg and husband Toney of Overland, MO, Toni Kopplin of Fredericktown, Deborah Howard and husband Doug and Cherree Dreyer and husband Walter both of O’Fallon, MO.

Visitation was held Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at 6:00 P.M. at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Funeral services followed  Thursday, September 5, 2013, also at the chapel. Pastor Jack Ruble ministered to the family and James Lee Brewington Jr, Cody Kopplin, Austin Kopplin, Jonathon Kopplin, Dylan Brewington, Danny Lee Brewington, Richard Brewington, and David Brewington served as pallbearers.  Burial was in Beulah Cemetery in Brunot, MO.     Jim, I’m so sorry to hear about Barbara’s passing. There is a big hole in your life now.
    Stay close to the children; they will give you a lot of pleasure. Take them to church with you. It will be a treat for them. Love you, Aunt Thelma(93 yr old)
