Edna Louise Buttrey, age 72, of Advance, MO, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at Advance, MO. She was born February 3, 1939, to the late Earl Everett Boyer and the late Ruth Wilma Condray Boyer, at Ellsinore, MO. She was united in marriage to Homer A. Buttrey on September 12, 1967. She was a machine operator for Paramont Headwear. She was of the Baptist Faith and made her profession in christ and was baptised in 1978. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, a daughter Janet Gerling, three brothers Clifton Boyer, Paul Boyer, Everett Boyer, and one sister Virginia Boyer. She is survived by one son, Richard (Robbin) Buttrey, of Gerald, MO, one daughter Bonnie (Salvatore) Taormina, of Advance, MO, one brother Dale (Kathy) Boyer, of Gerald, MO, and one sister Betty Sweezea, of Union, MO, and six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Visitation was held Friday, February 25, 2011, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Ruegg Funeral Home, Inc. of Piedmont, MO. Funeral services for Edna followed at 1:30 p.m. at Ruegg Funeral Homes, Inc, of Piedmont, MO. Interment will be at Carson Hill Cemetery in Mill Spring, MO. Reverend Wayne Page officiated the ceremony. Pallbearers were Ryan Buttrey, Dale Stilts, Phillip Boyer, Chris Taormina, Mike Gerling, and Joe Brown.
