Typical obituary that is edited by newspaper is no charge. An unedited obit is an obituary that list anyone that is deceased. If an obit is unedited it will at least be a minimum charge of $20.00 but can exceed $30.00 if it is a longer obit.

This newspaper is a daily newspaper except for Saturdays. The cut off point for newspaper notices are typically before 10:30a.m. Monday-Friday for that evenings paper. On Saturday the cut off is at 5:00 P.M. for the Sunday Paper. Obituarys in this paper are usually edited so the family doesn’t incur a charge. Usually edited means not listing any deceased family members.
