Alexander V. Ruegg, President/Owner – Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer Licensed Insurance AgentUpon graduation from high school, Alex enrolled at St. Louis Community college at Forest Park to major in mortuary science. In 1997,Alex attained his funeral directors licensed. After receiving his mortuary science degree in 1998, Alex went on to receive his embalming license in 1999. Alex served as Vice-President of Ruegg Funeral Homes, Inc. for seven years. He is currently the President and owner. He is also a licensed insurance agent. He is an active member and Past President of the Piedmont Rotary Club. He is a Paul Harris Fellow and a former assistant District Governor of Rotary District #6060. He is attending Harvest Baptist Church in Piedmont. |

Judy Thornhill, Licensed Funeral Director / Secretary / Licensed Insurance Agent Judy (Crismon) Thornhill of Silva began working for Ruegg Funeral Homes, Inc. in February 2010. She had been employed as a registered nurse at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in same day surgery. She is married to Shelby Thornhill and they are the proud parents of Emily Ruegg and the even prouder grandparents of Fred and James Ruegg. Judy has been a resident of Wayne County for 20 years. She and Shelby owned the S & J Gas Mart in Greenville for several years. Many of their relatives in the area are life long residents of the Wayne County. Judy is a member of the New Home Church near Clubb, MO. Judy Thornhill serves Ruegg Funeral Homes, Inc. in many capacities, she is Office Manager, Licensed Insurance Agent, and is in the process of obtaining her Funeral Directors License. |

Ronnie J. Street, Licensed Funeral Director Ronnie J. Street of Patterson has been employed by Ruegg Funeral Home since 1999 and been a licensed Funeral Director since 2001. Ronnie was raised in the Patterson community and is a 1961 graduate of Clearwater High School. He married the former Carolyn Sutton. He is a Veteran of the U.S. Army, Vietnam era. Ronnie is active in the community as a member and Paul Harris Fellow of the Piedmont Rotary Club and a member of the Wayne County Historical Society. |

Doyle R. Middleton , Licensed Funeral Director /Semi-Retired Doyle Ray Middleton, of Piedmont has been an employee of Ruegg Funeral Homes, Inc. since 1993. He has been licensed Missouri Funeral Director since 1998. He retired in 2002 and has remained on staff part time. Doyle grew up in the Riverside community in Reynolds County and is a graduate of Des Arc High School. He married the former Verlina Sutton and they have 2 daughters, Connie & Debbie and 4 grandchildren. He is veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Vulcan Assembly of God Church, serving in many capacities of the church, including Deacon. |

James M. Ruegg, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer In 1962 just out of high school,Jim began to work for the Gish Funeral Home and Ambulance Service in Piedmont,Missouri. In 1965,after deciding on a career path,Jim enrolled in the Dallas Institute-Gupton Jones, College of Mortuary Science. In May 1966, he received his funeral directors and embalmers license. Soon after receiving his degree, he was drafted into the United States Army-ground force in Vietnam, where he remained for one year. In 1988, Jim purchased Gish Bowles and Coder Funeral Homes. Soon after the purchase he changed the name to Ruegg Funeral Homes, Inc. which it remains today. Jim retired as a full time employee on February 1, 2010. As a resident of Piedmont for the past 40 years, Jim is active in assuring community involvement. He is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Piedmont; Active member of the Piedmont Rotary Club (a Paul Harris Fellow & Past President of the Club), a member of the Wayne Lodge #546 A.F. & A.M., Piedmont Chapter #347 O.E.S., St. Louis Scottish Rite Bodies and he is a Shriner; He is also a member of the American Legion Post #281 in Piedmont. In 2007 Jim was named the Piedmont Area Chamber of Commerce Businessperson of the year. Jim is the father of Alex Ruegg and Blythe (Ruegg) Waldschmidt. He is the proud grandfather of Fred Ruegg. |
| Frances E. Ruegg, Licensed Funeral Director Frances Ruegg, wife of Jim Ruegg, is a retired school teacher of 22 years. She has been a funeral director since 1976. She was a book keeper and secretary for Ruegg Funeral Homes, Inc. from 1989-2010. She is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Piedmont and a member of the Piedmont Chapter #347 O.E.S. Frances is the mother of Alex Ruegg and Blythe (Ruegg) Waldschmidt. She is the proud grandmother of Fred Ruegg. |
