Irvin Bartch Obituary

Irvin Earl Bartch Sr., 89 of Piedmont, MO, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019, at his home surrounded by love. He was born March 13, 1930 in Thomasville, MO, to parents Earl and Myra (Bissell) Bartch. Irvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. On October 7, 1950, Irvin married the love of his life, June Faulkner, and became the proud father of his four beautiful children. Irvin was a farmer and logger. On any given day, rain or shine you could find Irvin on a tractor, feeding hogs, or checking his beloved cows. Irvin’s life revolved around his family, farm and his legacy of hard work, honesty and love without restraint and has been passed down by generation. Irvin also found joy in fishing if he had rubber worms and the fish were biting, as well as deer hunting as long as he had snacks. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter: Trellis Bartch; two brothers: Elmer and Ralph Bartch; two sisters: Virginia and Norma Bartch; and son-in-law: Don Charlton. Irvin is survived by his lifelong side kick, June, of sixty-nine years; daughters: Earlene Barnes and husband Tex of Piedmont, Cindy Charlton of Piedmont, one son: Irvin Bartch JR. of Annapolis; grandchildren: Wendy Morris and husband Larry, Alicia Davis and husband Ryan, Brandon Kyle and wife Michelle, Devin Kyle and wife Amanda, Chelsea Montgomery and Husband Jon, Justin Bartch, Amanda Bartch; great grandchildren: Logan Morris, Lexi Morris, Jazlyn Barnes, Jadon Barnes, Serena Davis, Camden Davis, Natalie Hinkle, Jana Kyle, Mike Kyle, Martin Kyle, Gracie Bartch, Savannah Bartch, Audrey Whitworth, Olivia Whitworth, Daisy Whitworth, Malachi Whitworth; brother: Don Bartch of St. Louis, MO, and many nieces and nephews. Irvin was a man of honor whose word went without question. He brought love and laughter to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Visitation was held at 5:30 pm, Monday, September 23, 2019, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont. Funeral service followed at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 24, 2019, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Henry Pasquet ministered to the family. Larry Morris, Logan Morris, Brandon Kyle, Devin Kyle, Jon Montgomery, and Jadon Barnes served as pallbearers. Mike Kyle and Martin Kyle served as honorary pallbearers. Burial was in Duncan Cemetery near Piedmont, MO, with full military honors provided by Missouri National Guard and American Legion post 281, Piedmont.
