Kim L (Hancock) Pruett

Kim L. Pruett, 59, of Arnold, MO, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019, at her residence. She was born on July 17, 1960, in St. Louis, MO, to parents Jack and Minnie (Hudson) Hancock. Kim was an inspiring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She married Ben Pruett on November 10, 1984 and to this union two children were born. Kim was a Christian and enjoyed going to church. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, and the outdoors. Kim loved animals and enjoyed watching hummingbirds and looked forward to outings with her family to the zoo. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by both her parents. Kim is survived by her husband of thirty four years; children: Jason Pruett and wife Coddie of Arnold, MO, Jamie Pruett of Park Hills, MO; step-daughter: Jennifer Pruett of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren: Jaydan Pruett, Kristen Pruett, Jackson Pruett, Kylee McDowell, Haylee McDowell; brother: Joe Stringer and wife Jerry of Barnhart, MO; sister: Beverly Stinson of Arnold, MO; many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation was held at 12:00 pm, Friday, September 20, 2019, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Funeral services followed at 2:00 pm also at the Piedmont chapel. Bro. Dennis Allen ministered to the family. Special music was provided by Mahala Pittman. Jason Pruett, Jayden Pruett, Denny Durr Jr., Anthony Pittman, Kevin Andrews, Brian Andrews served as pallbearers.
