Penny (Osborn) Johnson

Penny Johnson, 51, of Greenville, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Clark's Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont, MO. Penny was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and friend. On November 7, 1992, Penny was united in marriage to Michael Johnson. She loved to ride horses when she was younger. She enjoyed being around people, especially her family. Most of the time, when someone looked at Penny, the first thing they noticed was her smile because she smiled most of the time. She was a member of Camp Eight General Baptist Church in Greenville, MO. She is preceded in death by her husband of twenty-six years; her dad, Ray Osborn; and grandfather, Roy Capps. Penny is survived by her mother, Judy Osborn-Hill and husband, Eddie, of Greenville, MO; her grandmother, Betty Capps of Greenville; brothers: Andy, Jason and Jase Osborn, all of Greenville; Charles Martin and wife, Erin, of Fredericktown, MO; Larry Ray and wife, Melissa, of Baldwin, MS ; Jimi Hill of Jerseyville, IL; sisters: Sheila Burnett and husband, Danny, of Risco, MO; Marilyn Schulte and husband, Steve, of Clubb, MO; Brittany Hill of Jonesboro, AR; Amber Hill of Cahokia, IL; Lisa Coulson of Walterboro, SC; Sue Cantrell and husband, Pete, and Kathy Rapert and husband, Ricky, all of Sikeston, MO. Penny will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation was from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Ruegg Funeral Home in Greenville, MO. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also in the funeral home. Bro. Everett Meese ministered to the family. Jeffery Robinson, Danny Burnett, Dustin Crane, Jimmy Fox, Christopher Huggins, and Shawn Huggins served as pallbearers. Larry Ray and Richard Wayne served as honorary pallbearers.
