Rosie "Polly" V Pennington

Rosie Viola (Polly) Pennington, age 69, of Greenville, MO, passed away at her residence, September 21, 2019. She was born June 7, 1950, at the home of her parents, the late Gee B. Johnson and Susan Irene (Smotherman) Johnson in East Prairie, Missouri.  She was of the Baptist faith. On June 8, 1968, she was united in marriage to Jerry Pennington and he survives of the home. She worked at Florsheim Shoe Company, was a cook at the Pevely Drive Inn, a Scout Leader, and a volunteer at Sherwood School. In addition to her parents, Polly is preceded in death by her sister; Jane Barks and husband Vernon; mother and father in law; Nora Bennett and husband Ira, brother-in-law Glen Pennington and wife Olene; two nephews: Roy Leon Clubb II and Clifton Pennington. Polly is survived by her husband Jerry, of fifty-one years; daughter: Donna M. Pennington of Greenville; sisters: Linda S. Jacobs and Mary C. Edwards of House Springs, MO; sisters-in-law: Ruby and husband Robert Wirte, Dorothy and husband Leon Clubb all of Greenville. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends. A Funeral Procession met at 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Ruegg Funeral Home in Greenville and proceeded to Kirkpatrick Cemetery near Greenville for a graveside service at 2:00 pm. Bro. Kenny Burchard ministered to the family. Jerry Clubb, Rick Clubb Sr., Rick Clubb Jr., Mark Wirte, Orla Stephens, and Tommy Clubb served as pallbearers.
