Tracy L. Twidwell-Williams, 52, of Clubb, MO, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019, at Evelyn’s House, Creve Coeur, MO. She was born in St. Louis, MO, on October 31, 1967, to Harold and Vera (deCelis) Twidwell. Tracy was a loving wife, daughter, stepmother, step-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. On June 30, 1999, Tracy married Nathan Williams. Tracy was an English and Creative Writing teacher at Greenville High School, where she taught for 29.2 years. Most recently, she was the A+ Coordinator and Junior High ICU Instructor. She was a valuable mentor and guide, touching many student's lives throughout the course of her career. She not only had an impact on the students but also many others in the community. One of Tracy's greatest passions was caring for her animals, which included her horses, cows, dogs, and cats. She was a Christian and of the Methodist Faith. Tracy is survived by her husband of twenty years; two step-children, Aaron Williams of Poplar Bluff and Ashley (Steven) Spencer of Jonesboro, AR; three step-grandchildren: Rhett Williams and Layton and Camden Spencer; her father, Harold Twidwell of Clubb, MO; her mother, Vera (deCelis) Twidwell of Greenville, MO; two sisters, Kim (Brent) Hughey of Clubb and Sherry (Dan) Grable of Canton, GA. She cherished her nieces and nephew: Allison Hughey, Kristie (Stephen) Willard, Jacob and Sheridan Grable; and great niece and nephew: Trevor and Natalie Willard. Tracy will be missed by her family and many friends. Visitation was from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, Friday, November 29, 2019, at Greenville High School. Funeral followed at 1:00 pm, also at Greenville High School. Burial was in Twidwell Cemetery, Clubb. Pastor Kent Wilfong ministered to the family. Pastor Brenda Henson provided a heartfelt eulogy. Aaron Williams, Dan Grable, Steven Spencer, Brent Hughey, Jeff Daves, Terrence Baker, and Travis Rogers served as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MS Foundation.
