Allecca “Lisa” (Hill) Joan Whitley, 55, of Paragould, AR, formerly of Piedmont, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, June 23, 1967, to parents Clacy and Dossie Louise (Hoffman) Hill.
Lisa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and had past attended New Liberty Church, Piedmont. She married Steve Whitley, and they were blessed with four children. She then married Aaron Wills on April 19, 2019. Lisa was an Assistant Physical and Occupational Therapist for many years and enjoyed helping others reach their goals. She had a good sense of humor. She attended Clearwater Schools and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: David L., Mike, and Franklin Hill.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband; children: Matthew Whitley of Paragould, AR, Sarah Gramling and husband Brandon of Oak Grove Heights, AR, Rebecca Whitley and significant other Dillon Varner, Ericka Decker and husband Mark of Paragould, AR; grandchildren: Karliah Layne, Elijah Layne, Xavier Layne, Gavin Gramling, Maximus Decker, Emilie Gramling; sisters: Pauline Fletcher and significant other Alan Grafton of Ellington, Sue Inman and husband Hughey of Poplar Bluff, Lou Cain and husband Billy of Oxford, AL; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Lisa will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation was held at 9:45 am, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Green Hill Cemetery, Piedmont. Graveside service followed at 10:00 am, also at Green Hill Cemetery. Pastor Tom Willis ministered to the family. Jerry Turner, Brandon Gramling, Dillon Varner, Mark Decker, Matthew Whitley, and Gavin Gramling served as pallbearers.
