Alpha Bell (Stout) Lee

Alpha Bell Lee, 90, of Williamsville, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in Van Buren, Missouri. She was born at her family home in Ellington, MO, June 22, 1934, to parents Ollie Martin and Flora (Vincent) Stout.

Alpha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love for her family shaped every aspect of her life. Alpha married Sanford Lee, and together they built a life centered around love and family, raising four children. A lifelong homemaker, she found joy in caring for her loved ones and took great pride in the home and family she nurtured. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication will be remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; son: Jimmy Edwards; daughter: Sharmane Politte; brothers: Wilbert and Delmar Stout; sister: Mavis Stout.

Alpha is survived by her children: Robert Edwards and wife Karen of Garwood, Glenda Nichols of Winona; grandchildren: Robert Edwards Jr. and wife Kim, John Edwards and wife Jennifer, Roy Politte, Randell Nichols Jr., Heather Montgomery and husband Ricky; great-grandchildren: Chandler Keene, Xander, Tucker, Hailey, and Emitt Edwards, Lexi Montgomery, Diane Upchurch, and Dustin and Angela Politte; sister: June Rector of Winona; several nieces, and nephews. Alpha's life was a testament to resilience, love, and the quiet strength found in family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation was held at 12:00 noon, Friday, May 9, 2025, at Ruegg Funeral Home Greenville Chapel. Funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, also in the Greenville Chapel. Pastor Adam Gordon ministered to the family. Robert Edwards, John Edwards, Ricky Montgomery, Randell Nichols, Chris Woodsmall, and Roger Rector served as pallbearers.
