Anita F. (Rose) Wills

Anita Wills, 85, of Greenville, MO, passed away Monday, August 9, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born in Lake Creek Community around the Patterson area, on December 29, 1935, to parents Lee and Mae (Dickerson) Rose.

Anita was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was married to Albert “Al” Wills on April 12, 1952. Anita lived in Wayne County most of her life. She enjoyed going to church, listening to gospel music, not only going to yard sales but having yard sales. She enjoyed cooking and spoiling her grandchildren. Anita served the Greenville area, working at Ruegg Funeral Homes Greenville Chapel for over forty years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-eight years; brothers: Jerry, Lacey, and Carl Rose; sisters: Freida Sigman, and Laverne Barks.

Anita is survived by her children: Rendell Wills and wife Sharon of Greenville, Carla Wills of Greenville; grandchildren: Lee Wills and wife Heather of Silva, Laura McCoy of Greenville, Caleb Parkin and wife Aimie of Poplar Bluff; great-grandchildren: Claire Wills, Rory Wills, Bentley McCoy, Chloe Parkin, Carter Rose Parkin; sister: Margie Cook of Greenville, several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Anita was an asset to the community and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Visitation was held at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service was held at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 12, 2021, also in the Greenville Chapel. Bro. Kenny Burchard and Bro. Louie Robinson ministered to the family. Caleb Parkin gave a heartfelt eulogy. Rendell Wills, Lee Wills, Caleb Parkin, Kevin Sigman, David Davis, and Curt Cook served as pallbearers.
