Anthony "Tony" Edward Rosener

Anthony “Tony” Rosener Sr., 93, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at his residence. He was born June 19, 1930, in St. Louis County, to parents, Henry and Lina (Frank) Rosener.

Tony was a mechanic at Bussen Rock Quarry for many years and was a member of Operators Union-513. He married Betty Harding on January 2, 1988. Tony was a soft-spoken gentleman. He enjoyed tinkering with tractors, and golfcarts, gardening, and traveling with Betty in his earlier years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife; stepson: Michael Callis; stepdaughter: Linda Gentry; brothers: John and Henry Rosener.

Tony is survived by his stepchildren: Tina Stith and husband Mark Cooper, and Patricia Pogue; children: Anthony Rosener Jr., Katherine Reichardt, Dorothy Lattray, Tina Marie Rosener, and Patsy; several grandchildren; sister: Tillie; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Tony will be greatly missed.

A graveside service was held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 29, 2023, at Patterson Cemetery, Patterson, MO. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Larry Pogue Jr., David Pogue, John Farris, Shane Amsden, Jon Fox, and David Davis served as pallbearers. Burial immediately followed. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
