Audrey P. Baker, 86, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022. She was born in Cookeville, TN, February 19, 1936, to parents Norman and Gracie (Henry) Clouse.
Audrey was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved to crochet. She was an avid reader; you’d often find a book in her hand. Audrey loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, they were her world. She enjoyed being outdoors, sitting in her swing, working in her garden, planting new flowers, and she loved to fish. Audrey was an avid Cardinal Baseball fan. She was an animal lover and adored her favorite companion; Sadie, and truly missed her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Hayes “Red” Baker; one daughter: Donna Winter; two brothers; five sisters; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Audrey is survived by her children; Roger Baker and wife Lynda of PA, Ronda Eaton and husband Amos of Pevely, David Baker of Patterson, Audrey Patterson and husband Dan of St. Louis; son-in-law: Doug Winter; sisters: Bonnie Tallent, and Barbara Bohannon, both of TN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Audrey will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
A graveside service was held at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Murphy Cemetery, Piedmont, MO.
