August "Auggie" D Huddleston

August "Auggie" D. Huddleston, 70, of Festus, MO, formerly of Vulcan, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Festus Manor Nursing Center, Festus, MO. He was born December 3, 1952, to parents Calvin “Beyrl” and Mary “Lucille” Huddleston.

Auggie was a high school graduate from South Iron. He was highly intelligent. He was a hod carrier for brick contactors which is a very hard job. Auggie enjoyed playing basketball in school. He like fancy cars and loved to be on the go. He loved to eat especially Ruth’s BBQ ribs. His favorite past time was looking for gold.

He is preceded in death by both his parents.

Auggie is survived by many cousins and will be greatly missed.

Visitation was held at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 27, 2023, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service was held at 1:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor James Gray ministered to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com.
