Billy Joseph Mann, 82, of Mill Spring, MO, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He was born in Mill Spring, MO, on January 30, 1941, to parents Harlan and Clara (Waller) Mann.
Billy was an avid Cardinals baseball fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Billy liked to shoot the bull while drinking coffee at Pitstop. He was a hard worker. He worked at Brown Shoe Company for ten years and then spent the majority of his time working in the logwoods. He had attended Mill Spring Christian Church. Billy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: Billy Mann; brother: Charles and John Dickie Mann; sister: Nancy Farris.
Billy is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Judy (Foster) Mann; daughters: Carolyn Lacey and husband Wade of Piedmont, Roberta Cottner and husband James of Stella, NC; grandchildren: Tara, Jeremy, Rhea, Lily, Hayden; great-grandchildren: Tiffany, Tabitha, Waylon; great-great-grandchild: Elyse; brothers: James Mann and wife Melba of Ellington, Roy Mann and wife Juanita of Piedmont; sisters: Ruth Foster and husband Dewayne Allbritton of Piedmont. Billy will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 24, 2023, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Kevin Kinnard ministered to the family. Jim Mann, Allen Morehead, Ronnie Joe McFadden, Jeremy Lacey, Wayne Burress, Bryan Million served as pallbearers.
