Blanche Marie (McMann) Bracco

Blanche Marie Bracco, 84 of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Farmington, MO, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, in Michigan. She was born in Detroit, MI, on September 24, 1939, to parents Basil McMann and Wilma (Lashley) and Everett Barker.

Blanche was a committed and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She lived in Detroit until her father passed away, then her family moved back to Wayne County, MO. Blanche moved back to Michigan to complete high school at John J. Pershing High School in Detroit. She married Silvio Bracco in 1959 and they were blessed with three beautiful daughters. She was of the Baptist faith and was saved as a young girl and past attended Beulah Baptist Church in Brunot, MO. Blanche was an avid collector. She enjoyed collecting things from Baseball cards to Beanie Babies. She was also quite the crafter and artist. Blanche loved painting and woodworking. In a crisis, she was always there, the rock that did not waver or crumble. Blanche was always happiest taking care of people, especially her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-seven years; her daughter: Ruth Ann Kroll.

Blanche is survived by her children: Anita Muszall and husband Thomas of Memphis, TN, Theresa Mattia and husband Marc of Macomb, MI; grandchildren: Brandon Kroll, Amanda Kroll, Kelly Muszall, Shane Muszall and wife Morgan, Noah Muszall and wife Nikki, Grant Mattia and wife Lauren, Jacob Mattia, Christian Mattia; great-grandchildren: Ayden Muszall, Thomas Muszall, Charlotte Muszall, Sophia Kroll, Zachary Kroll; sisters: Patricia Gregory and husband Gregg of Sterling Heights, MI, Victoria Hulsey of Farmington; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Blanche will be greatly missed.

Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Beulah Baptist Church, Brunot, MO. Funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, also in Beulah Baptist Church. Pastor Shane Muszall ministered to the family. Guitarist, Jason Gregory provided special music. Noah Muszall, Brandon Kroll, Grant Mattia, Jacob Mattia, Christian Mattia, and Jason Gregory served as pallbearer. Burial was in Beulah Baptist Cemetery, Brunot, MO.
