C. Earl Crowley, 79, of Brunot, MO, was born September 19, 1944, to the late Charles Newton Crowley and Molly Katherine “Wilcox” Crowley. Earl was the only surviving sibling of four; LuluBelle Durrow, Sara Lela Ann Mcgee, and Nannie Josephine “Jo” Crowley. Earl’s family members have dwindled but three first cousins survive; Betty “Crowley” Tibbs, Leonard and McCorkle “Corky” Westmoreland. Many Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Earl resided on the family farm in Patterson, MO, until his stroke and subsequent passing on September 25, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Earl logged and farmed to earn a living. In earlier days, he loved to hunt and has many trophy horns on display in his home. Earl also liked to tinker on vehicles, dozers, and such. Over the last few years he picked up his fishing poles and went on multiple outings with his great nephew, Tristin Amerlan, and great, great nephew and niece Jase and Lilly Minor. Usually, he was the only one to catch any fish!
Earl loved a good conversation and could start one with anyone! He also could tell you some good jokes and liked to hear them too!
When family was asked to describe what they thought about him it came down to a loving, hardworking, country man that loved the family farm, his dogs, and still enjoyed short walks in the woods. Charles Earl Crowley will be dearly missed but we know he is off fishing with Aunt Martha.
