Carl Raymond Wells

Carl Raymond Wells, 80, of Piedmont, MO, passed away December 9, 2020 at Clark’s Mountain Nursing Center, Piedmont. He was born in Ellsinore, MO, October 7, 1940, to parents Charles L. and Mamie M. (Brown) Wells.

Carl was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was good with his hands and enjoyed working with batteries, rebuilding, selling, and fixing them. He liked to rebuild power wheels and make them 4-wheel drive. Carl also loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He loved to aggravate everyone.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Charles, Harvey, Albert, Earl, and Gary Wells; sisters: Wilma Roark, Luella Phillips, Betty Simmons, Fern Hastings, and June Wells.

Carl is survived by his brother: JD Wells; children: Ernie Wells of Ellsinore, Carol Sue Brown and husband Buster of Piedmont, Doug Wells and wife Wanda of Oregon, Raymond McGarrity of Ellsinore; ten grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Carl will be missed by his family and friends.
