Carolyn Faye (Murphy) Rounds

Carolyn Faye Rounds, 76, of Piedmont, MO, passed away April 14, 2026, at her residence. She was born on August 8, 1949, in Buckhannon, West Virginia, to Emmett Ray and Clara Maxine (Bennett) Murphy.

Carolyn was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Sergeant. During her time in service, she met and married Carl Berris. Carolyn later married George Rounds and they made their home in Piedmont, Missouri.

Carolyn was a member of the American Legion Post 281 in Piedmont and worked at the Piedmont Post Office. She had a deep love for animals and enjoyed bowling and cooking. Carolyn and George shared a passion for traveling, and she especially cherished the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband George; son: Michael Berris; brothers: Harold Murphy and Duane Murphy.

Carolyn is survived by her children: Frank Berris, John Berris; stepdaughters: Georgianna Beilman, Gayle Tiemann and husband Todd; grandchildren: Carli Berris, Bryce Beilman, Clayton Beilman, McKenzie Cross, Raina Nelson, Jara Olsen, and Sydney Tiemann; brother: Robin Murphy and wife Tammy; sister: Ronetta Murphy; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
