Charles Eads, 64, of Caledonia, MO, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis. He was born in Lutesville, MO, on September 4, 1956, to parents Plez Lee and Deloris Evelyn (Elder) Eads.
Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He drove for Amerigas for many years. As a true cowboy, Charles had great admiration for horses and horse shows. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and his turkey camp. Charles was co-pastor of Word of Life Cowboy Church in Patterson. He was a strong, Godly, family man, and loved talking about God. Charles kept in constant contact with his family, enjoyed teasing and sitting around telling past family stories, and loved being a grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Richard, and Duane Eads; sister: Leatrice Eads.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of thirty-two years, Linda (Norden) Eads; children: Harold Eads and wife Shari of Poplar Bluff, Justin Coffey and fiancé Jemma Massey of Festus, Ryan Coffey and fiancé Sheri Wood of Fredericktown, Brandon Eads and fiancé Melissa Hager of Farmington, Amanda Knight of Poplar Bluff, Alexis Eads of Farmington; grandchildren: Megan, Maddie, Ashley, Carter, Breanna, Austin, Jordan, Rylen, Gracelyn, Nevaeh, Landon, Dakota, Allie, Mattie, Brice, Jackson, Addie, Ally, Andrew, Kwinton, Kenda, Clayson; brothers: Donald “Donnie” Eads and wife Jeanette of Silva, David Eads and wife Gaylynn of Desloge, Mark Eads of Boss, Fay Tucker of Farmington. Charles will be deeply missed by his family community and a host of friends.
Visitation will be at 11:30 am, Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Word of Life Cowboy Church, Patterson. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 pm, also at Word of Life Cowboy Church. Burial will be in New Liberty Jacktown Cemetery, Clubb. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
