Cheryl Lynn Bellah, 65, of Festus, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at her residence. She was born February 27, 1959, at St. Louis, MO, daughter of Don and Patricia Ann (Laxton) Story.
Cheryl was raised in St. Louis and had worked at National Envelope for over twenty years as a machine operator and later worked as an associate at Walmart. When she was about fourteen years old she met the love of her life, her soulmate Alvin. She truly blessed his life and was his everything. She was a loving caregiver to son Tony, a mother that was always there for both her children providing loving guidance. In spare time she enjoyed reading, puzzles, drinking coffee and playing with her dog Missy. In these last years she enjoyed visiting the family farm in rural Piedmont.
Cheryl is survived by her loving family, her husband of fifty-two years; her children: Tony Bellah of the home and Tracy Dickinson of Piedmont, MO; her grandchildren: Myesha Barrett and husband Steven and McKenna Dickinson; one great grandchild, Zabrina; her mother, Patricia Story; her brother, Ervin Williamson of Piedmont, MO; her sister, Cindy Thorne and husband Patrick of DeSoto, MO.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her sister Ronda Story.
Cheryl will be forever missed by her loving family.
There was a visitation at 9:30 am with graveside funeral services following at 10:00 am on Friday, July 11, 2025, all at Clay Cemetery near Piedmont. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to family. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
