Christopher S. Dumont

Christopher Spencer Dumont, 24, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born in Concord, NH, on December 13, 1996, to parents Donald Dumont and Rebecca Ferguson.

Chris was a father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and cousin. He loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, and just sitting around the campfire. Chris will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: James and Kathryn Ferguson; and Jeanine and Warren Landing.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his son: Aidan James Creek of Licking; brother: Brandon Ferguson and wife Ariel of Piedmont; sister: Nicholle Allen and husband Brian of Piedmont; nephews: Brian and Karson Allen and niece: Arianna Ferguson, all of Piedmont; grandmother: Holly Ferguson of Piedmont; Uncle: Spencer Hughes and wife Rebecca, of Manchester, NH; cousins: Lukas, Madilyn, and Trinity; Uncle: Chris Ferguson and wife Melissa of Piedmont, and Uncle Scott Ferguson and wife Nema of Piedmont.

Visitation was held at 5:00 pm, Friday, April 2, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Memorial service followed at 6:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
