Clara Belle (Pruett) White

Clara Belle White, 71, of Piedmont, MO, suddenly passed away, Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. She was born in Hornbeak, TN, on February 25, 1949, to parents Edmund H. and Sarah Elizabeth (Babb) Pruett. 

Clara was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed deer hunting, playing bingo, and bowling. She also loved collecting elephants. Clara was a hard-working willful woman. She was always determined to help anyone who needed it and has been the glue that keeps everyone put together. She adored and protected all the kids in the family as well. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Steve Pruett, John Harris Pruett Sr, and wife Geraldine Pruett; and sister-in-law Kim Pruett. 

Clara is survived by her children: Angelena Bartosch, and stepson Therman White; grandchildren: Jessica Bartosch and fiancé Matt Brawley, Joel Bartosch; great-grandchildren: Riley and Matti Brawley; brothers: Tony Pruett and wife Margie, Ben Pruett, Sonny Pruett, and wife Delaine. She is also survived by 8 nieces and 3 nephews. Clara will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Burial will be in Rings Creek Cemetery, Patterson. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
