Connie Sue Wood

Connie Sue Wood, 75, peacefully passed away on May 18, 2020 at her residence in Williamsville, Missouri.

Connie was born in Terre Haute, IN to Hershel and Maxine McKee on November 15, 1944. She married Terry Wood, her High School sweetheart in 1961 in Terre Haute, IN. Connie followed her passion to care for others and pursued a career in nursing. She worked her way up the nursing ladder and in 1996 earned her Associates Degree in Nursing and became a RN. She led several local nursing homes as the Director of Nursing and is responsible for the start of many peoples career in the nursing field as she was a trainer for the CNA program.

Connie is proceeded in death by a son Kameron Wood, her parents Hershel and Maxine McKee, and all of her siblings Tom McKee, Beth McKee, and Monty “Moe” McKee.

She is survived by her spouse Terry Wood of the home, two sons, Derek Wood of Doniphan, Darnell Wood of Louisiana, a daughter-in-law, Angela Wood of the home, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.  This obituary has been submitted by the family of Connie Wood.
