Cynthia Roots Obituary

Cynthia “Cindy” Marie Roots, 65, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born in Benton Harbor, MI, October 17, 1955, to parents Larry Wayne and Wilma Marie (Nix) Harvey.

Cindy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She married Eric Roots on February 14, 2019, in Poplar Bluff. Cindy enjoyed crocheting, traveling, and cooking and made sure no one left hungry. She loved working in her flower garden and her animals. Cindy enjoyed people, was kindhearted and loved everyone. She never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, John Beckham; brother, Bruce Harvey; sister, Jane Harvey.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband; children: Josh Beckham of Bonne Terre, James Beckham of Piedmont; Nicole Roots, Ashley Roots, Devon Roots; grandchildren: EJ Beckham, Chance Beckham, Andrew Beckham, Victoria Beckham, Josh Beckham, Christian Beckham, Amira Roots, Christian, Madison Green, Alyssa Segura, Matthew Segura, Anthony, Oakley, Timber, Destiny. Cindy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
