David Ray Cissell

David Ray Cissell, 61, of Greenville, MO, and Tioga, North Dakota, passed away, Sunday, July 10, 2022, at his residence in Tioga, North Dakota. He was born in St. Louis, MO, August 22, 1960, to parents, Raymond Cissell, and Joan (Ogden) Cissell.

He enjoyed hunting, playing digital poker, riding his 4-wheeler, visiting friends, and playing cards. David’s favorite pastime was spending time with his family. David was a loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, and friend. David will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  

David is preceded in death by his parents; Raymond and Joan (Odgen) Cissell.

David is survived by his loving wife Nancy Cissell of forty-two years; children: David Cissell and his fiancé Katrina Bogrett of Tioga, North Dakota, Matthew Massa and his wife Lydia of Greenville, MO, Melissa Cate of Greenville, MO; grandchildren: Brenden Cate, Breanne Cate, John Massa, Jayden Massa, Mattalyn Massa, Ellie Massa, and Brynlee Cissell; brothers: Donald Cissell, Kenneth Cissell, and  Michael Cissell.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, July 15, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home Greenville Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm, also in the Greenville Chapel. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
