Deborah (Ballew) Callahan

Deborah “Deb” Callahan, 69, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Farmington, MO, surrounded by her loving family.

On February 12, 1988 she married Jerry Callahan and shared thirty-five happy years.

Deb, was a loving wife and a wonderful homemaker. She was deeply rooted in her Christian faith having accepted Jesus Christ in her thirties. She was an active member in Pentecostal Churches when her health allowed. She had fought cancer bravely the last several years and is now at peace.

During her working years she was employed by Thomas and Betts, Frito Lay and lastly Z Manufacturing in Piedmont. Deb and Jerry also enjoyed their flee market in her last years.

She is survived by her loving husband; brothers: Douglas Ballew, Jimmy Ballew and wife Laura, Mark Ballew and wife Dusty, Michael Ballew, all of Fredericktown, MO; sister, Patricia Tesnow and Sharon Shafer both of Fredericktown; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Deborah is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Gary Ballew and infant Steven Ray Ballew; and sister, Barbara Clark.

A graveside service was held Friday, September 29, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Boss Cemetery, Boss, MO. Pastor Paul Davis ministered to the family. Burial followed at cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
