Deirdre Lynn Wicker

Deirdre Lynn “Dee” Wicker, 50, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born at Belleville, IL, on March 13, 1973, to parents Dennis and Pamella (Stuart) Lewallen.  Dee had moved to Wayne County after the death of her mother. She was a blessing in taking care of her father. In 2012 Dee met John Wicker and they were married in 2017. They shared several happy years together. Dee was an over the road truck driver for many years working for Colonial Freight and JB Hunt. She was a loving and caring person and was always available to help anyone. She did not have any enemies.

Dee loved her animals and she also enjoyed fishing at Clearwater Lake and at local rivers. Riding the river in boats was also a special past time.

She was a Christian and of non-denominational faith.

Dee is survived by her loving husband John; Her father, Dennis Lewallen of Piedmont; sister, Stephanie Hall and husband Brett SR. of Alton, IL; her nephews Brett Hall Jr. and Blake Hall.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Services will follow at 3:00 pm, also at funeral home chapel. Cremation will follow services. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
