Delaine " Dee" Marie (Zoellner) Pruett

Delaine “Dee” Marie Pruett, 75, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Friday May 19, 2023, at The Manor in Poplar Bluff, MO. She was born in St. Louis, MO, July 29, 1947, to parents William and Delores (Weis) Zoellner.

Dee was united in marriage to Johnny “Sonny” Pruett on May 20, 1967. Dee worked at Brown Shoe for many years. She loved to go bowling and play bingo. Dee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years; Johnny Pruett; sister: Bonnie Euler.

Dee is survived by her children: Eddie Tollison of Dallas, Tina Pruett of Poplar Bluff, Cary Pruett and significant other David Harper of Poplar Bluff, Ashley Pruett of Glenpool; brothers: Al Zoellner and wife Rita of St. Louis, Dana Zoellner of Columbia; grandchildren: Clara Pruett, Arianna Burlbaugh, Jaxon Pruett; one great-grandchild on the way Luna Belle Delaine Hubert. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Monday, May 22, 2023, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Gerald Allen. Brandon Ricks, Ryan Ricks, Chance Rocks, Arianna Burlbaugh, Aron Zoellner served as pallbearers.
