Diane Marie Thornburgh-Tuttle, 64, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, in Poplar Bluff. She was born in Bernie, MO, August 1, 1960, to parents Arlen and Evelyn (Crane) Alberson.
Diane was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She grew up in the Greenville area and had past attended Greenville High School. Diane was known for her loving and generous heart, always putting family first and creating a home filled with warmth and laughter.
Throughout her life, Diane worked at Specialty Brands in Piedmont and later at Mid-Continent Nail in Poplar Bluff.
Diane found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved playing Bingo, watching movies, and playing video games, and fishing with John. Her beloved cat, Alpha, was a constant companion. Diane especially treasured the time spent with her family—whether sharing stories, celebrating holidays, or just being together. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews were her pride and joy.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: Gary Alberson.
Diane is survived by her son: Coty Thornburgh and wife Kelly of Patterson; grandchildren: Meghan, Samantha, and Michael Klug; great-grandchildren: Isabella, Liam, Bonnie, and Ryan; brother: Terry Alberson and wife Linda of Greenville; sister: Sue Henderson and husband Frank of Greenville; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Diane will be remembered for her kind spirit, infectious laugh, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 23, 2025, also in the Greenville Chapel. Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery, Silva, MO.
