Donald R. Helton

Donald R. Helton, 77, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Clarks Mountain Nursing Center, Piedmont. He was born in Butler County, October 15, 1945, to parents Arvil and Kathleen (Blue) Helton.

Don was a man who adored his wife and fur babies. He spoke and thought of his wife daily. Don loved to listen to his favorite music, and he loved to laugh. He served in the United States Air Force and liked to tell stories of his time in the service and moments in his life. Don was an amazing person who will be missed dearly.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of forty years.

A graveside service was held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 7, 2023, in Carson Hill Cemetery in Mill Spring. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
