She was the life of the party and had a generous heart, always laughing. When her children were growing up she was very active in scouting, being a leader in girl scouts and for a coed explorer troop. Donna was an avid traveler nearly making all fifty states. A favorite past time was bowling which she was competitive enough to travel and bowl in senior tournaments. She also enjoyed her membership in the Elk’s club in Ironton and Piedmont Eagle’s club, where she enjoyed dart games with friends. She also served as the club’s secretary.
Donna is survived by her children; son, Adam Shipley and wife Rebecca of St. Louis, MO, and daughter, Lisa Shipley and husband Jason Politte, of Ballwin, MO; four grandchildren: Amanda Shipley, Hazel Shipley, Kaden Constantz and Isaiah Constantz; four step-grandchildren: Angel Politte, Emily Jensen, Brenden Politte, and Gabrielle Politte; two brothers: George Williamson and wife Elizabeth of Freeport, IL and David Williamson and wife Mary of Hainescity, FL; several nieces and nephews.
