Doris Mae (Rash) Pigg

Doris Mae Pigg, 83, of Williamsville, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Williamsville, May 29, 1938, to parents Robert Harold and Zelma (Crowley) Rash.

Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and had past attended First Baptist Church of Williamsville. Doris enjoyed cooking and work at Clark’s Mt. Nursing Center as a cook. She married Howard Leon Pigg on February 27, 1956, and they were blessed with five children. Doris was a caretaker and loved her family. She cared for her parents, husband, children, and grandchildren. Meeting her on the other side are both her parents; her soulmate of thirty-nine years, Howard; son: Dean Pigg; daughter: Dora Pigg; brothers: James and Robert Rash; sister: June Wells.

Doris is survived by her children: James Pigg of DeSoto, Keith Pigg and wife Karen of Westphalia, Zelma Sanders of Williamsville; grandchildren Brandy Sanders, Kelly Garrett and husband Tim, Katie Rudroff and husband Trey, Kristen Kleithermes, Dakota Pigg, Gabby Pigg; great-grandchildren: Brenden Sanders, Destiny Tippen, Jared Sanders, Emily Garett, Alexis, Addie, Ava, and Anna Rudroff; two great-great-grandchildren. Doris will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation was held at 1:00 pm, Monday, February 28, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Williamsville Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also in the Williamsville Chapel. Pastor Wayne Street ministered to the family. James Pigg, Brenden Sanders, Dakota Pigg, Jared Sanders, Garyn Pruett, and Tim Garrett served as pallbearers.
