Dorothy Ellen (Cook) Mann

Dorothy Ellen Mann, 91, passed away Tuesday, May 11, at Generations at Neighbors, Byron, IL. She was born August 17, 1929, to Henry and Emma (Lane) Cook in Gideon, MO. In 1954, she married Eddie E. Burton, in Silva, MO, who preceded her in death on September 30, 1981. She worked for many years and retired from Eaton Corporation in Rochelle. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy is predeceased by her grandson, Ricky Burton and great-grandson, Nathaniel Burton. 

Dorothy is survived by her son: Eddie Burton, Jr., of Rochelle; brother, John Cook; sister, Lola Calvert; four grandchildren: Terry Burton, and wife Anna, Larry Burton, Melissa Anderson and husband Matt, and Bryan Burton and eleven great-grandchildren.

There will be a private family service in Rochelle, IL. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 21, in Greenville City Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
