Dwight David Ruble

Dwight “David” Ruble, 62, of Des Arc, MO, passed away Tuesday August 18, 2020, at his residence. He was born December 18, 1957, to parents Dwight and Loyce (Middleton) Ruble.

David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He married Sharon Watson on December 20, 1977, and this union was blessed with two beautiful girls. David was self-employed, owning, and operating, Ruble Lumber Co, Inc. since the late 1970’s. He was a member of Hopewell Lodge 239 of Lesterville, MO. David enjoyed raising cattle and he loved his mules. He was one of a kind and good for a laugh. Most of all, he was a family man. David will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  

He is preceded in death by both his parents.

David is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years; children: Angie Ruble of Wappapello, Pam Patterson and husband Jerry of Des Arc; grandchildren: Shelby Patterson, Josie Patterson, Hayley Scrivner, Mikana Watson and husband Will, Brayden Kaempfe; great-grandchildren: Kaison, Reid, Raylee; brother: James Ruble and wife Rhondalyn of Piedmont, Linda Bollinger and husband Joe of Des Arc, Pattie Ruble and husband Glen of Vulcan; nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, August 19, 2020, with a Masonic service at 7:00 pm, provided by Hopewell Lodge Post 239, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Funeral service was held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 20, 2020, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Jerry Patterson and Pastor Brent Reed ministered to the family. Brayden Kaempfe, Charlie Salvage, Doug Bond, Jimmy Ruble, Don Wright, and Mike Wahl served as pallbearers. Emmitt Massie, and Don Ivy served as honorary pallbearers. Burial followed at Mt.
