Earl Rainwater Obituary

Earl Rainwater, 68, of Williamsville, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019. He was born in Williamsville, March 2, 1951, to parents Ira Eugene and Jewell May (Hillis) Rainwater. Earl was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and hunting. He was especially fond of his motorcycle and was a bike enthusiast. He enjoyed traveling in his younger years. Earl proudly served in the United States Navy in Vietnam. Earl loved his country and was very patriotic. Beyond everything else he was a family man and was crazy about his kids. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Edward Rainwater; his sisters: Wanda Lott and Shirley Gilbreath. Earl is survived by his loving wife Debbie (Fortner) Rainwater; children: Jay Clinton Rainwater Sr. of Boling-Lago, TX, Angela Napper and husband Ray of Kearney, MO, Heather Shelton and husband Ryan of Williamsville, MO, Jana Drennan of Williamsville, MO; grandchildren: Mathew Rainwater, Alexandria Rainwater, Jay Rainwater Jr., Jazmine Rainwater, Liam Garrett, Ira Rainwater, Dakota Wells, Tyler Wells, Cheyenne Wells, Austin Napper, Coltin Upchurch and wife Diana, Collin Upchurch and wife Josline; great-grandchild: Toby Upchurch and one on the way. Earl will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A graveside service was held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 28, 2019, at Missouri State Veteran Cemetery, Bloomfield, MO, with full military honors provided by Bloomfield Veteran Cemetery and American Legion Post 281, Piedmont, MO. Pastor Darrell Davis ministered to the family. Coltin Upchurch, Collin Upchurch, Austin Napper, David Thompson, Donnie Thompson and Ray Napper served as pallbearers.
