Elbert Carter Morris, 86, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at Clark’s Mountain Nursing Center, Piedmont. He was born in Piedmont, November 4, 1935, to parents Richard Blaine and Ethel (Carter) Morris.
Elbert was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He worked for Worley Sawmill for over thirty years before retiring. For several years, Elbert raised and trained beagle pups for hunting. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and woodworking. Elbert was always there to help and give to anyone in need. He watched over his neighbors and friends taking exceptionally good care of them.
Elbert is survived by his nieces: Becky Schunk, and Pamela Tooley both of Springfield, MO; many great and great-great nieces, nephews, and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
