Eric Joseph Webb

Eric Joseph Webb, 48, formerly of Piedmont, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, at his residence in Arnold, MO. He was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, September 25, 1973, to parents Robert “Bob” Webb and Dianne Webb Miller.

Eric was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Clearwater High School in 1991 and attended Southeast Missouri State University where he was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity and earned a bachelor’s degree in Parks, Recreation, & Tourism. He proudly served in the Missouri Army National Guard as a combat engineer and deeply loved his country. Eric was a successful salesman with AJ Adhesives for many years. He could often be found passionately cheering on his St. Louis Cardinals and Blues while surrounded by his friends.  Most of all, Eric was a loving son, brother, uncle, and nephew…and he dearly missed his father, Bob Webb, who precedes him in death.

Eric is survived by his mother Dianne Miller and her husband Terry, sister Amanda Rausch and husband Nick of Columbia, MD, nephews Teagen and Mathias Rausch, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Eric’s quick wit, easy laugh, and helping nature will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Bro. Darrel Silvy ministered to the family. Matt Shoemaker, Bill Eads, Joe Gabel, Gregory Russell, Michael McNamara, and Jason McMurry served as pallbearers. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery, Piedmont, MO.
