Freda J. Luthey, 83, of Annapolis, MO, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Annapolis, June 27, 1938, to parents, Charles E. and Norvie (DeBoard) Luthey.
Freda was a Christian and was strong in her faith. She was a longtime member of the Annapolis Nazarene Church. She worked for Brown Shoe Factory for a short time. Freda was kindhearted and enjoyed socializing with her friends. She also enjoyed mowing lawns and had about ten or more neighbors in town she mowed lawns for.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one baby brother, one baby sister, and sister, Wanda Shamblin.
Freda is survived by niece and nephew, cousins, friends, and her special caregiver and friend of many years, Charles Leonard Warren. Freda will be deeply missed in Annapolis.
Visitation was held at 12:00 noon, Friday, March 4, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service was held at 2:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Bro. Howard Casteel ministered to the family. Lenny Warren, Alex Ruegg, Roy Million and Devon McKim served as pallbearers. Burial will be in Collins Cemetery, Annapolis, MO.
