Freda Pickens, 90, of Williamsville, MO, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020, at Greenville Nursing and Rehab. She was born October 6, 1929, to parents James W. and Vennie P. (Garrison) Clubb. She was married to Ross Russell in 1953 and they resided in California until his death in 2000. She then returned to Missouri and in 2006 she married Herman Pickens and they resided in Poplar Bluff, Missouri until 2020 when Freda moved to Williamsville to live with family. Freda loved to spend time outdoors, she spent many happy hours enjoying nature. She always loved to travel, especially out West. She was a loving aunt and was very devoted to her family. One of Freda’s favorite things was family gatherings. She was also a Gospel music fan. Freda will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Ross Russel, Brothers; Clayton Clubb, Verdie Clubb, Ervin Clubb, Arville Clubb, and sister Ilene Clubb. Freda is survived by her husband Herman Pickens, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation was at 10:30 am, Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Center Ridge Cemetery.
