Glenda "Rae" Crumrine, 88, longtime resident of Greenville, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2026, at Clark’s Mountain Nursing Center, Piedmont. Rae was born February 5, 1938, at Hollywood, now known as Arbard, MO. Rae spent her childhood years in Wayne County, attending school and graduating from Greenville High School. She met and later married the love of her life, Dan Crumrine, and to this union one child was born. Not long after marriage they made their home in St. Louis for their working years. She worked for Bussman Fuse until retirement. In the 1970’s they made their way home to Greenville where she and Dan spent many happy years until his passing in 1998. She was a Christian and proud of her savior, often attending Mt. Pisgah General Baptist Church in which she was a member. Her other favorite past time was hunting deals at yard sales or thrift stores. Rae was a quiet, kind and simple lady. Her joy was her family and they were a tight knit group. In her last years she was proud of Nicole’s cooking abilities, so much so it is said that she could eat an entire cake that Nicole would bake. She is survived by her loving son, Dan Crumrine of Greenville, MO; her loving granddaughter’s: Nicole Crumrine and fiancé Jerry and Erin Mertens and husband James; her loving great grandchildren: Chase Langley, Jase Langley, Ryan Proctor, Brandon Harsh, Jeffery Akers, Olivia Akers and Gabriella Streicher; loving sister, Charlene Allen of Silva; five loving nephews and two loving nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Helen Olivia Benton; and her loving husband. Glenda will be missed by her loving family and friends.
