Gracie Aileen Bratton, 76, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at her residence. She was born December 1, 1946, in Williamsville, MO, to parents Paul and Aileen (Bilbrey) Eads.
Gracie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She married Jerry Lee Bratton on December 15, 1962, and they were blessed with two children. She retired from Boeing after about twenty-five years of service. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and riding around. She liked to cook and enjoyed her grandchildren and was proud to be a grandma as well as great-grandma. Gracie loved to travel, and her favorite vacation spot was Florida. Her greatest legacy was her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-nine years; and brother: Charlie Eads.
Gracie is survived by her children: Michele Parker and husband Robert of St. Charles, Kirk Bratton of Arnold; grandchildren: Amber Mayfield and husband Joe of Warrenton, Robert L. Parker, Maggie Parker, Ryan Parker, Kelsey Ward and husband Gary, Whitney Bratton, Mason Bratton and wife Michaela, great-grandchildren: Skyler Weekley, Mason Parker, Annabelle Parker, Charlie Parker, Ryleigh Parker, Gracie Weekley, Auggie Bratton, Autumn Hausermann, RJ Parker; brother: Fred Eads; sisters: Ruby Smith and husband Jack, Ruthann Huitte and husband Jr; sister-in-law: Peggy Eads; many nieces and nephews. Gracie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Williamsville Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also in the Williamsville Chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Robert Parker, Robert Lee Parker, Ryan Parker, Joe Mayfield, Mason Bratton, and Richie Eads served as pallbearers. Burial was in Duncan Cemetery.
