Harry Tenhulzen, 83, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital, Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born on February 8, 1942, San Jose, California, to parents Harry Julian Tenhulzen Sr. and Annette (Caudel) Tenhulzen.
Harry was a devoted husband, caring father, beloved brother, and a loyal friend to many.
He married Sherry Fahrenkrog, November 8, 2001, and together they shared twenty-three years of cherished memories, laughter, and companionship. Harry spent several years working at CertainTeed in Gad's Hill as a Granule Plant Superintendent, where he was known for his strong work ethic and easygoing nature.
A man of many interests, Harry found great joy in fly fishing, following sports—especially football—and connecting with people through his computer. He also had a deep love for travel, whether it was across the globe or simply along the scenic back roads near home.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Jack and Larry Tenhulzen; and one sister, Helen Workman.
Harry is survived by his loving wife; children: Jeffery Tenhulzen of Colorado and Erin Tenhulzen of Sacramento, California; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who will miss him dearly.
Harry's warmth, sense of adventure, and genuine care for others will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
