James Edward Durrow, 82, of Williamsville, MO, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born in Williamsville, MO, April 12, 1940, to parents Virgil and Hazel (Medres) Durrow.
James was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He lived in Williamsville all his life. He married Sandra Bilbrey and to this union one son was born. James was a self-employed logger as well as working in construction on bridges and houses. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. James enjoyed helping others and never met a stranger. He would give the shirt off his back and helped everyone. He liked to dance, enjoyed working on cars and lawnmowers.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of thirty-two years; his son: James Edward Durrow Jr; his brothers: Harold and John Durrow.
James is survived by his brothers: Junior Durrow and wife Ellen, Paul and Bob Durrow; sisters: Elsie Dalton, Barbara Cravens all of Williamsville, MO.
A visitation was held at 12:00 noon, Monday, October 17, 2022, at Rucker Cemetery, Williamsville, MO. A graveside service was held at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 17, 2022, at Rucker Cemetery, Williamsville, MO. Bro. Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Junior Durrow, Paul Durrow, Bob Durrow, Tommy Durrow, Andy Durrow, Doug Durrow, and George Durrow served as pallbearers. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
