James William King

James William "Jim Bill" King, 73, of Patterson, MO, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Medical Regional Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born in Brunot, MO, February 10, 1949, to parents Hadley and Lorene (Belmar) King.

James was a longtime member of the Piedmont Eagles, he enjoyed every minute of being there. He enjoyed playing cards and exploring flea markets. James was raised up near Brunot, MO, and graduated from Clearwater High School. He served in the United States Army in the Vietnam Era.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Sonny King.

James is survived by his daughter: Jennifer Oehlert of St. Genevieve, MO; brother: Sol and his wife Sue King of St. Louis, MO; sisters: Nina Jo Morss of Burdett, KS, Edna Burke of Austin, TX, Jane Poston of Piedmont, MO, Pat and her husband Cub Ruble of Vulcan, MO, Janet and her husband Al Keller of St. Louis, MO; and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
