Janice Kay Sanders

Janice Kay Sanders, 59, of Piedmont, formerly of St. Louis, MO, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022. She was born in St. Louis, September 5, 1963, to parents Clarence Eli and Mary Mildred (Shrimp) Sanders.

Janice was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed quilting, embroidering, watching television, and playing cards. She loved hot wings. Janice could always make the best of any situation and she had a really big heart. She enjoyed her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Janice is survived by her children; Andrew McGehee-Collins Jr. and wife Stacy Lynn of Piedmont, Amanda Collins of Carterville, IL, Clayton Collins of Poplar Bluff, Shawn Danzer of St. Louis; grandchildren: Andrew McGehee-Collins III, Samson McGehee-Collins, and on the way is Emersyn McGehee-Collins; brother: Terry Sanders of St. Louis; sister: Ruth Ann Warner and husband John of St. Louis; many nieces and nephews. Janice will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 12:30 pm, Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
