Jerry Anderson Frye Jr.

Jerry Anderson Frye, 51, of White House, TN, passed away, unexpectedly, on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. He was born on April 21, 1970, in Springfield, TN.

He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He worked at 2 8 Drilling as a drill operator. An avid fisherman, he was happiest on a riverbank trying to catch a "big one". He was also a diehard Tennessee Vols football fan. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his loved ones as often as he could.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry A. Frye, Sr., his maternal and paternal grandparents, several aunts and uncles and cherished nieces: Angela and Kaycee Hunt.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Joyce Kirby of Greenville, MO; daughter, Hailey Frye of Winchester, TN, son Jeremy (Jennifer) Close of Gassaway, WV, sisters: Renee Whitley of Poplar Bluff, MO, Tina (Robert) Mell of Piedmont, MO, Meredith Gilliam of Piedmont, MO, Sara Bray of Glasgow, KY, Sheri Whitley of Manchester, TN, and Suzanne Ryder of Lincoln, NE, brothers: James (Tamara) Pritchett of Murfreesboro, TN, and Terry Frye of Russellville, KY. Also survived by a granddaughter, Freyja, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews that he adored.
