Jerry Wade Reeves

Jerry Wade Reeves, 69, of Piedmont, MO passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Chicago, IL, May 17, 1955, to parents Gene Elic and Justina (Barber) Reeves.

Jerry was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He had many interests in life. Jerry was a talented musician and could play almost any instrument.  He enjoyed singing and sang for anyone anytime.  He was very comical and enjoyed making people laugh.  Jerry was a  member of the Eagles Post #4227.  He enjoyed spending time with his brothers, playing pool, hunting and fishing. Jerry was inspiring to everyone he met. He would help anyone who crossed his path.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by granddaughter: Elizabeth Marie; brothers: Doug Reeves and Jerry Casey; sisters: Tammy Rauch, and Patsy Irene Barnes; sister-in-law: Karen Casey.

Jerry is survived by his son: Jerry Reeves Jr.; grandchildren: Gavin Montgomery, Sierra Jane Godar: one great-grandchild and one on the way; brothers: John Reeves and wife Diana of St. Louis, Jimmy Casey of Dupo, IL, Vincent Casey and wife Terri of Piedmont; sisters: Theresa Reeves and husband Jimmy of Dupo, IL, Shelia Davis and husband Tommy of Dupo, IL., Vanessa Casey of Piedmont, Beth Casey of Dupo, IL; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Jerry will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation was held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Memorial service followed at 4:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Bro. Lyle Jones ministered to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
