Johnny Alfrey Jr., 56, of Piedmont, MO, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, on Poplar Bluff, MO. Born on May 23, 1968, in Corpus Christi, TX, he was the beloved son of Johhny Alfrey and Shirley Mae (Butler) Lambdin.
Johnny was a devoted father, brother, and friend, known for his unwavering faith and deep love for his family. He cherished every moment spent with his children, especially his son. Johnny’s passions included gardening, fishing, camping, and being outdoors, where he found joy and solace.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Hector Loyo.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepfather: Gerald Lambdin; his loving son: Jace Alfrey; stepdaughter: LaDawn Burleson; grandchildren: Dakota and Rhett Burleson all of Piedmont; brother: Frank Alfrey and wife Shanna of New Paris, IN; sisters: Beverly Moles and husband Timothy of Goshen, IN, Channa Loyo of Cedarburg, WI; sister-in-law: Julie Loyo of New Berlin, WI. Johnny will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His kind spirit and zest for life touched the hearts of many, and his legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
